Hi,
Had some walnut left from my previous project, and made a box during Christmas hollidays. It was my first try to do french polishing. It’s difficult to see the “shine” at the pictures, but my self was pleased with the result.

Very nice box. I’m a big fan of walnut and you’ve got some really attractive examples there.

You did wrap the grain, Nice job.
I’ve been working with black/walnut and like to use the color to make lighter color woods show better like maple. Just like you did with the inside of the box.
The natual color looks great, just the way mother nature intended.
