This is actually a continuation of my last project posting showing the cabinets for his equipment. We finally finished the desk this week-end. We did the cabinets last week and put everything together on sunday. The first photo is the before photo. We used 2×4 s for the base and covered that with a 2’x8’ sheet of melumine and trimed that out with pine to match the cabinets face frames.

looks good to me. I’d love to have a monitor like that. It’s bigger then my TV. LOL

That’s kinda a small monitor! LOL I just recently hooked my 2nd video out port to my 60” HDTV. LOL

Looks like a good solution!

Trucker, That desk turned out looking nice. Bet your son is quite happy with it and the best part is that he can say it was hand built by him and his dad.

clieb, he already took pictures to show around at work. I’m the old guy, but he is the one who kept changing the design as we went along. I knew I was in trouble evrytime time he would say “how much trouble would it be to ….....< lol
