Hi folks,

This is the last project that I finished. It was all done about 2 weeks ago. It’s an entertainment centre from October 2005, Wood Magazine.

My father wanted a table for the television in the basement. I remembered this piece from October 2005 and thought it would be a better fit. This is what the piece is based on. I usually deviate from plans if I don’t like a feature, make an significant mistake, or just can’t follow basic instructions. This plan calls for alot of solid wood banding that is then hidden by fals fronts. I resized some panels and will just use glue on banding for the pieces that will not see the light of day. This plan also calls for 4 sided finishing, but instead of a pop-off back, the shelves will slide in and out so it will be a three sided piece.

I have a some info on my blog at and a complete breakdown of construction with comments on my picasaweb album

Just for fun, I compiled a list of tools used to complete this project. This list is a little nuts. I may have left some things out, but you get the idea… Tool List

Thanks for looking!
