Really digging this spoon making.

The first one is cherry and it will be my first one to sell on ETSY (well at least my first one to list on there) its about 14” long and 2 1/2” wide.

The scraper is for my sister she has been wanting one and with all the crap her and her hubby have been going thru she deserves something nice. An update Uncle donut will be coming home for the second time on thursday after his heart surgery. Here is a link if you have some spare change they could really use your help right now. I have a blog entry about what happened also. If you could reshare the link that would be extremly helpfull because the more hits it gets the more exposure.

Anyway the scaper is oak and bloodwood with toothpick pins. Both are finished up with butcher block oil, oh yea i presoaked them to pull up the fibers and do a final sand before the finish was put on.

Thanks for looking and thanks so very much for helping if you can. This is such a wonderful site with such awesome folks.

You’re really getting into these spoons, making me want to get in the shop and try them out! They are really awesome designs and great craftsmanship as usual Doug
