I was privileged enough to cut this set of filigree crosses for Keith over at Sheila Landry Designs. These were fun to cut! I made them from curly maple (for the overlays) and walnut (for the backers). They are about 13” tall. Each one took around two hours to make, and I was able to stack cut the overlays with some baltic birch ply that I will use for an upcoming show. I hope you like these!

Awesome cutting. I checked out your projects, I love scrolling, and got interested in the baskets. Checked out the blog you did, well done. Checked out the website and ended up ordering the two books.

Thank you all! Paul, I am glad you enjoyed the blog too. I am making about 50 of those baskets for a show in April. I plan on taking time on one of them and filming a YouTube video of the process as well. Should be interesting! Good luck with them!

I think this is astounding scroll saw work Leldon. So delicate and so accurately done. It’s good to know that there are still some miracles in our modern world!

These are fantastic. I am always leary about opening these pages lest I’ll only feel bad about the quality (or lack thereof) in my own attempts.
