This is a hall table i made for my son’s wedding present from plans that were in an woodworking magazine. I will check my fills and credit the desighner. The floating top is ribbon sepele with a little refined edge in the back. Frame is hard maple and i paid close attention to how the grain in the legs was oriented in all four legs. The strecher mimics the arch of the top edge and is fitted with some wedged tennons for some interesting detail. the finish is a thinned poly whipe on. I had some extra maple left over so I cut an extra set of legs and will make another table when I find the right piece for the top.

Thank yo uto all for yor comments. I have checked my files and the design is by Ricard Jones a very fine craftman and designer. The design was published in the Feb. 2000 edition of Wooworker Journal. For those of you wishing to build this table the article is very well done and the detailed.
