Made a pair of walking canes after accidentally breaking one of my grandmothers poorly built ones. These are the first walking canes I have made, but its always an interesting learning experience and I think thats what keeps me going in woodworking.

Tried to reuse most of my materials. Had a couple of oak stair balusters from an old job, already stained but after running each edge through the table saw I was to some nice bare oak. Had some small cherry cut offs that I could use for one cane handle, and just used some oak for the other. The rubber bases at the bottom of each cane are simply rubber leg tips for chairs.
