This clock was built for a benefit online auction for Megan Lange, a Phoenix 911 dispatcher, who was killed by a drunk driver going the wrong way on the freeway. It is quarter sawn White Oak with a Wenge inlay to match the black bar on her Call Sign emblem. Finished with a coat of tinted shellac and two applications of Arm-R-Seal Clock insert is from Rockler.

An excellent project for a worthy cause. Great craftsmanship! What a terrible loss to her family and friends.

Let me know if they are still collecting for this benefit. I always have some half finished projects that I would be more than willing to donate. It really looks great!

Sadly the auction closed Sunday at midnight. Thanks for the nice comments. I worked with her father before I retired at the end of last year.
