This end grain cutting board was made for some friend’s for this past Christmas. It’s made with black walnut and hard maple. It’s approx. and inch and quarter thick, 12×15 inches. After last glue-up, I built a flattening jig for my router to make it flat. I finished it with several coats of Clapham’s Beeswax Salad Bowl Finish and a few coats of mineral oil. After receiving, my friend decided to add some rubber feet to one side, and it has become a permanent fixture on his kitchen counter.
