Here is a Greene and Greene inspired train table. The table is made of cherry with walnut plugs and matches the bedroom set that I previously posted. The table aprons are not glued and the legs are srewed from the inside with furniture bolts and threaded inserts so the table can be taken apart. Thanks for looking

Nice looking table. Why would you ever want to take it down. Throw magazine and some foot cushions on it for a later TV table.

Nice touch. No one will complain about that toy being left in the living room :)

Thanks

I got the cherry from a small local sawmill here in SE PA, actually his mill was featured in FW awhile back. PA cherry sure is nice!

Probably the nicest wood I have seen on a play table. Beautiful addition to the home.

I love it – and am just a little jealous of the space you have to put such a thing. My son has my Brio set from when I was his age, it would be great to have table like this!

My daughter’s is made of two-by fours, plywood and green deck screws.
I think yours wins:)
