I am building my garage workshop one part at a time and this was the miter saw project i had been needing to complete for some time. I had done much research as to the space restrictions i have to deal with since it is a two car garage shop my wife was gracious enough to let me have. Putting the saw on one side allows me to cut longer peices when needed or end on the other side…seemed to fit my needs so i went with it.

It is not high grade wood or anything special but the design turned out nice and it being mobile and on wheels like everything else in my shop makes it nice. I did trim it out a bit so it is not so hard on the eyes:)

I have a setup that looks very similar and it really works out well. I use the Kreg Trak all the time. Enjoy it.

Good job!I have something sort of near that but had to hang it on the wall so I can still get 2 cars in my garage. Mine is a lot more “Rustic” looking than yours though.

It appears to be MDF, is the fence a different material than platform?
