Another older project. This was completed in early 2005. All the commercially made bunk beds are so shoddy, so I built this one. It is made from Red Oak and stained, with a topcoat of Waterlox. It is holding up well in spite of the daily abuse by two, young energetic boys.
If I remember correctly, this was the first time I used Waterlox, and I have loved it since. This was made from a plan, with minor modifications.
-- If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, who will cut it up into bowl blanks?
