My shop was getting out of hand. Where these cabinets stand used to be 28’ of bench space. I have been cleaning and changing my shop so that my bench space is limited, making me work smarter and cleaner. What is stored in these two cabinets covered all of that 28’, with the exception of the microwave, which I put in the room with the fridge. Awhile back, there was a post about spending money on shop items. These cabinets were built from the cheapest pine I could find at Lowes. If I ever get done with this shop thing I’ll have more furniture for you folks to see.

Very nice shop cabs. It’d be nice if I had room for some. But instead I wade through the cluster.

Organization is the key. I’m trying to do the same this winter. Good job.

Any chance of some pics inside the cabinets?

All that space? Man, you need a whole wall full of cabinets right there. Then you’ll have an excuse to buy tools and goodies to fill them up.

I feel your pain, brother… I’m in the middle of organizing too…
The cabinet looks great…

CharlieM- Man, I’ve done the wall of cabs before. I have all the goodies I need. I’m finally figuring out what I really need and how I like to work. The shop you guys see in my photos is around 1100 sq. ft. and is really half of my “shop space”. Behind those doors is 1100 more sq. ft. , containing lumber storage, spray booth, finished product storage, and the little office where I’m typing on this screen. This winter I have made a big effort to treat my shop like it was up north in the beginning, to get rid of distractions and baggage, so I can focus on one project at a time. That might sound nuts but that’s what I’m doing. bbqKing.

King, sounds like all you need is a bed & TV and you could set up residence.
