This is a bow front vanity I built this past summer. It sets in a small guest bathroom. Its all Zebrawood veneers and Wenge hardwoods. Dovetailed maple drawer box’s with blumotion undermount slides. Concealed blum hinges with blumotion softclose devices.

I love the vanity. I might just have to try something like that in my guest bathroom. A great job. Very nice.

It’s a shame you wasted that work and great veneer on a vanity. It would have made a WONDERFUL bar!!!

Beautiful. Did you cut the veneer yourself or did you order it?

As we’ve come to expect from you—wonderful craftsmanship. For myself, I prefer more traditional cabinetry styles, but I’m certain your client was elated by your artistry. Your ability to do well all styles and designs of furniture and cabinetry really confirms what a true craftsman you are. (But I still like Addison Rose’s crib and changing dresser better!) ;-)

WOW….......... another master piece by the master himself. I agree, it should have been a bar not a vanity. Les it is a beautiful piece and well done. I would never have thought about using zebra wood in a bathroom but it looks great. JOB WELL DONE.

Les, this is simply gorgeous. I like the way you bump out the front of the vanity. It adds a nice detail to the piece. To tell you the truth I am amazed that you have the time for this.
Years ago I talked to the wife of a friend of mine, who is a pro, and she commented that they had gone over 3 years without a door on their guest bathroom and she finally resorted to simply hanging a shower curtain over it. When asked why he hadn’t hung a door he said that basically (1) doing that did not help him pay the bills so it would have to wait until he “had some free time”, which obviously wasn’t going to happen any time soon and (2) he did this all day long and wanted to relax when he got home.
But, here, I am sure it is more fun than work for you. You can do things like this at your “day job” and then come home and do it again for relaxation. Wonderful!!!

WOW. I am very impressed. That turned out amazing. Someone else above said it first, but I agree; if that’s the guest bathroom, I can’t wait to see what you did in the master. I just love zebrawood.
