We decided to change the inside look of our house by removing 4 feet of wall and adding Shoji sliders and doors to our closets . l removed the wall and some ceramic floor tiles and installed more white oak hardwood flooring down to the front door . During that part of the project l had to remove to black walnut inlays that went to the end of the original wall and bring them back 4 ft and in to the wall ,during that l had to remove random pieces of hardwood flooring in attempt to have it match up the rest of the floor and above all so it would look like the 4 ft of wall had never been there. The shoji sliders for the coat closet were built from black walnut that l single , double and triple fluted in the appropriate places to match our shoji doors in the living room . [ there is a pic of them in my projects ] l used the same 1ml dragon cloud paper . On the linen closet it was 24” wide so sliders wouldn’t work and l installed them as doors . The first to pics are Before Pics and the rest After . The doors work so much better than Bi-Fold Doors . Thanks for looking
