I was inspired to make this stool after seeing an article in Fine Woodworking by Kintaro Yazawa. You can see lots more about this on Glue Tube The stool is make out of some teak I had left over from 44 teak doors I made for a job in Denver 25 years ago. So the wood was well aged.

Sir, you are truely inspiring. I have the article from fine woodworking and from time to time try to study the techniques and methods used to create such a work. To view your video and witness to skill and expertise you display is remarkable. This is the type of craftsmanship that is hard to comprehend. Thanks for allowing it to be on display.
