A Craftmans style door

Project by Woodjoint posted 316 days ago 618 views 4 times favorited 5 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is a door a I made for a client here in Joseph out of locally grown Tamarack, all quartersawn. The hardware was owner supplied and cost almost as much as the door. None of the surfaces are flush. The rails drop down from the stiles, then the mid stiles drop down again then the solid panels drop down again.

pretty cool door, has a nice flow.

it’s an interesting design having the stiles drop down like that and not being flush.
