Hi
A bandsawn box, of six drawers. One of the drawers has a hidden compartment.
The timber is Australian Red Cedar and yes Ellen it is finished with Tung Oil.

That is so funny! Look at that sheen. Very nice shape and I love that finish. I would like to see how it sits or if it sits on a stand.
Great job.

Very nice, & a great finish. Australia must have a lot of beautiful wood.

So tell me one more time how do you open the bandsaw blade to get it to fit in the holes?

The making of a bandsaw box is explained at my website, and there are free plans and a Pocket Guide there for your use.
Very briefly a section is bandsawn from the block which becomes the back of the box, then the block is lain on it’s back and the drawer blocks are then bandsawn.
So it is a process of bandsawing and gluing.
Please do not hesitate to use the How To detail on my site,

love the design on this…. looked like you used a great deal of artistic talent and steered clear of the normal squareness of a regular box..
well done…
