How to save $400 off a custom cabinet.

Project by Sailun posted 176 days ago 668 views 0 times favorited 9 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Ordered my cabinets. I wanted an 18” deep pantry, but only stock sizes were 12”and 24”. Custom depth was $400 extra. So, ordered the 24”, took a deep breath, cut it up, re-drilled a whole lotta shelf-mounting holes, trimmed the shelves, and put it back together. Took a little longer than I thought, but it looks perfect.

Way to go!

Are those by any chance Kemper cabinets? They look exactly like mine.

No guts, no glory. Seems you have both in this one. It really took me a lot of mental preparation to dive in and start doing stuff.
