Tiger and cub

Project by Bob Collins posted 176 days ago 310 views 0 times favorited 10 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Thought I would try a change of media and attempted to carve a Tiger mother and cub in 3D.. Also added a picture of my first attempt at 3D carving.

Those are really nice Bob. I’d say you captured the tiger quality perfect. Great little pieces!

your turnings are unique…I have a hard enough time working in square (2D) let alone 3 dimensions…
TIGER, tiger, burning bright
In the forests of the night,
What immortal hand or eye
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

partial from William Blake’s poem…

Thanks for the very encouraging comments from all above. This was an enjoyable project and Tigers are one of my favourite animals to carve, so much character. Bob.
