This is a toddler toy extrapolated from a recent Woodworker’s Journal plan. Dowels within the wheel strike other dowels fixed to the end disks. It was well received by my grandson—even in competition with other more colorful and noisier toys :) Toys without batteries are the best!

Looks like the woodworkers answer to that fisher price ball popping lawnmower-like thing. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

What a cute toy.Had to laugh at the battery part.I have a good friend who just hated it when people would give her kids battery operated toys and no extra batteries.(lol)
