Clacker Rolling Toy

Project by LarryS posted 316 days ago 479 views 5 times favorited 6 comments Add to Favorites Watch

This is a toddler toy extrapolated from a recent Woodworker’s Journal plan. Dowels within the wheel strike other dowels fixed to the end disks. It was well received by my grandson—even in competition with other more colorful and noisier toys :) Toys without batteries are the best!

Looks like the woodworkers answer to that fisher price ball popping lawnmower-like thing. Very cool. Thanks for sharing.

Larry, great project! It’s hard to find good wooden toys for toddlers. It appears that your client is pleased.

What a cute toy.Had to laugh at the battery part.I have a good friend who just hated it when people would give her kids battery operated toys and no extra batteries.(lol)
