What do you do when your daughter (who is the best cupcake baker around) needs a shelf to hold her precious books?
You get out in the shop and find a nice piece of cherry and start cutting.
Had to squeeze it in up on the wall over her surfboard.
(Made the surf board brackets last year)...ha ha
Finished in Boiled Linseed Oil and Wax.

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

I really like the spacing of the brackets, and the build in book ends

Looks like it is just part of the local scene on the wall, interesting design.

We are finally getting a fair amount of daylight up here in the northland. My wife ran off for 11 days, leaving me with all the chores plus working as well. Laundry, shopping, watering plants, cooking all my meals, taking care of the pets….......gad zooks, hardly time for any play.

Have a good day, your shop has become a real production machine….........

Eric, good to see you back in the shop working on nice projects.

The wings you added on the top reminds me surfboard rudders. Nice touch ! When comes the finish, you never miss it. Great job buddy.

By the way, he’s my technique evenly space fasteners. No more headaches.

Came for the surfboard, stayed for the cherry. :-)
