After reading a recent aritcle in FWW about making\using hand plane jigs, I knew it was a good time to add\update and replace some of my old jigs. First up was to replace my old Planing Stop, pretty easy and the directions in the FWW mag are excellent. Next I made the Bird’s Mouth Stop, which I didn’t have before and probably won’t use much, but enjoyed making it anyways. The third jig was the Planing Board which I put to good use over the weekend. And lastly, is the Shooting Board; I still need to make the two miter attachments for the Shooting Board in the near future. I enjoyed making these useful jigs and hope to get lots of years of use out of them.
