I did this just to see if I could. Cut out in 3 sections like one would cut out a bandsaw box. Then glued them together. The spout took a little more work. Holds about 5 pints of beer.

Great idea and wonderful bandsaw work. What finish did you use, or do you let the wood help flavor the
beer? Thank you for sharing.

I hope you used good glue on the handle. That’s gonna be almost 10 pounds of beer in there

Nice looking pitcher

“Holds about five pints of beer…”—- Judging from the photo, I’m guessing not for long, right? :) Congrats!

Fantastic idea and very well built! Did you just come up with this or is there a plan out there for doing one of these? I would love to do one and watching everyone’s eyes when they reach in the fridge for some tea. Drinking alcohol would hospitalize me anymore but it sure sounds nice!

No plan. I tend to shot from the hip on projects. Just came up with it myself.

Nice project Chris! This is one of the things I like most about it …. ”I did this just to see if I could.”

Good For YOU!
