I have been wanting to try a burning off of a picture of an animal, so I took one of my daughters dog Chance. It’s not perfect to the picture, but it still looks a little like him.
Hope you all like it.
Jim

I’m still a little under the weather, and still not to much energy but I feel like I’m coming alomg and getting better everyday. It will take time to get over this pnuemonia, so bare with me, and I will be getting back into full swing in a bit. your LJ friend Jim

Jim -
Great to see this post – hope you are well. I always enjoy your projects. How did you transfer the image of your dog on the wood? Transfer paper?

being pout of ink, I had a friend of mine to print out a picture of him and he gave me a colored on. All I did was to put carbon paper under the picture and draw out the outlines of it. And yes I have a fan that blows on the woodburning at all times. I found out that with nothing to get the smoke away It does make it harder to breath. So yes I am useing a fan to blow all the smoke away from me.

Hey Jim, nice stuff as always… glad to see you’re up and about again. Maybe an inexpensive filter mask would help also. Take care of yourself please and thanks for posting your work!

Very good Jim – also glad your getting better….remember —as you stated…smoke and dust are probably not the best thing for you right now… take precautions….
