Pine printer table

Project by woodsman posted 303 days ago 318 views 2 times favorited 2 comments Add to Favorites Watch

I needed a small table to place two printers on at my work office. I had some pine I purchased from a local Log home sawmill. I on purpose, used the wood on the front apron that had sap holes in it, to add a little character to the table. I used mortise and tenon joints. I used a home tapering jig on the legs. The finish is Cherry gel stain, which I have found does not tend to blotch as badly as other finishes and leaves a slight red hint that really brings out a rich tone to simple pine wood.

Nice simple design with great character. That one should hold your printers for a long time :)

I really like the Shaker influence!
