That is beautiful. My son is with LAPD, and I’ve made some PD related scroll work for him, but that badge is great. I’ve never tried my hand at carving, but now you have given me cause….next time we take the motorhome out for a few weeks. Best of luck to you son….and be safe out there.

I just have to ask what state is Surf City in that the badge denotes? Really nice carving. I like carved works but don’t posses the skill myself. How large is the actual carving? Again great job and keep those tools sharp.

The badge is in butternut and is about 10×7 inches or so. Surf City is on the coast in NJ
