This was my first project ever attempted. I knew nothing of what joints to use or how to make them for that matter. I had limited tools and of which was a very cheep router that was bought new at the begining of the project and died at the end. Lesson learned dont by cheep tools you’ll regret it. In the end the table turned out ok and I learned a lot along the way. This project is what gave me the woodworking bug and I’m affraid I’m hooked forever.

Isaak, welcome to LJ for a first project this was very ambitious and you pulled it off well. This looks very good. My tool buying philosophy (if there is such a thing) is buy the best you can afford.
(oh, and your lawn looks great too.)

Nice start! Looks solid and functional and good looking too. Just work with what you have and don’t look back. YEE HAH!
