Because I had so much spare time and had never done anything like it before, the LOML decided we needed a shelf/cabinet unit to fill in about 22 feet of wall space downstairs. Since I had no experience nor knowledge of just what it takes to complete such a task, I only semi-reluctantly agreed. So there! Its all my fault.
If nothing else, starting and eventually completing a fairly large (for me) project provides lots of learning opportunities: finding wood to match the existing cabinets in a nearby room is hard (why do we have to do that honey?), filling all floor and bench space in the shop makes work inefficient (yes, dear, I always crawl through this unit to get into the shop), and yep, its still 21’11.375”.
Anyhow, its done and so far the TV hasn’t fallen to the floor.

It came out very well! A nice looking game room for sure.

You did a very good job, Steve. How many trips to the dark continent have you made? I’m impressed by the heads on the wall.
