This is a rocking horse that I made for my granddaughter for her 1st year birthday. She needed help to get on it at that time, but is able to get on by herself now. She really enjoys riding it and we have some on movies. A next project is a kitchen set for her, stove and sink etc. First grandchild so she doesn’t have to share time with others.

I got the pattern from U-Bild and used 2×12 and 1×12 pine and cut around the knots. The yarn for the mane and tail were the hardest to find.

The horse is great and your granddaughter is quite the cutie. A family heirloom for sure! Thanks for posting this Al.
