I made this up today for my daughter in law’s birthday, Sunday. Hope she likes it. She usually likes the things I make. You just never know.

You bet karson, that was the smallest piece I had from the burls it had those little curly Qs you can’t see in the picture it really is pretty. mike

I like it, Mike.

I can’t tell from the photo – is the clock laying against a piece of log, or is the log part of the clock? If the latter, how is the clock to be displayed, i.e. wall hung or mantle?

What’s the finish?

How about some shots from a different angle?
Hope that you don’t mind all of the questions.

I just laid it up against the logs the city dropped off beside the garage because the sun was out and I was hoping it would get me some good pictures, what I got was a lot of glare. The finish is a polymer epoxy used on cypress clocks and tables in some bars. I think woodcraft carries it. Ok I’ll take some more pics. mike

The finish is a polymer epoxy that woodcraft carries I don’t know the name I threw away the box, it was a blue and white box. thanks for the generous comments. mike
