This is the 5th and final box used to learn the basics of the Leigh jig in preparation for a commissioned box. Again the wood is Thailand Padoo and finished with 4 coats of spray on urethane wet buffed with 1200 between coats. The sliding lid is a bookend piece found in the wood pile and is dado’d into the top trim pieces.
Ready or not, it’s time to go for the ‘money’ box.
Thanks for viewing and a warm HNY to all.
