I was suplied with the ebony and ivory pieces to make this chesstable for a customer.The main table was made out of burmish teak the rest out of ebony and ivory.lThe lions feet were carved out of solid ivory

Ha! What are the chance of two chess tables being posted side-by-side?

Very impressive! I would love to try to work with ivory. Maybe some day I’ll acquire some mammoth ivory.
