I built the Piano Bench from alder using power tools and hand tools for the finish work It has an oil stain to match the Piano for which it’s made, two coats of linseed oil and a wax polish. It is made for my daughter to give to my Son in law who recently got a piano. I designed the piece.

Very Nice Rob. Lots of cool details and I like the lid stop too. Glad to see something made of Alder. It’s beautiful and wonderful to work with and is much underused by us woodworkers.
