Chow tray plaque for LCS3, USS Fort Worth.

I made and finished the outer frame, and mounted the metal tag as a Commissioning gift from the local Navy Club Ship to the crews of LCS3, USS Fort Worth, prior to her Commissioning. The frame is made from some reclaimed Birch flooring that my Ex-FIL had had for years, along with the tray. The most complicated part had to be trying to “fit” the tray into the frame, since over time, the tray had been slightly twisted.

The last I heard, it was going to be mounted to a bulkhead in the galley. Thanks for looking!
