This is my first bandsaw box lots of mistakes but it is a start. I made it from shipping crates from china that I had gotten these are from the scrap pile they were cupped and warped and twisted. I watched a you tube vido and gave it a try. learned a lot, the block was to narrow the drawer is real narrow and deep. my 3/8 blade was far two big for tight curves. I will be making more for sure it was fun.
I am open for suggestions

The best suggestion I can make is to just keep on makeing things. What you have now is certinly nothing to be any less than proud of. Practise has never made me or anyone else that I know of perfect but it sure does make a big improvement. Very nice job on the box!

That’s a great box. When I saw the first picture, I thought the threaded dowels in the back were part of the box. I thought “how neat”, looks like a plane of some sort.
Very good first box.

yes Gene it is a plane that my dad had on display a rabbiting plane I believe it pretty cool it has a crack in the wood and can not be used as it is. would love to get into the old way of woodworking with the joints and traditional way are fore fathers did it.

Sory, I don’t see any mistake. I like this shape and wood colour.
