I was able to get in the basement for a few minutes this morning, and practiced a bit more on the lathe. Turned out a pen and a perfume atomizer. I have to do a better job of turning down to the bushings, but I’m happy with them, all things considered. Thanks for looking.

Thanks Dan and Belinda. I definitely have the bug. I just ordered a box of assorted blanks, and will be picking up some more slimline kits next week. I’m looking at a 30 piece lot for cheap, so I can go downstairs and just go at it. I should have a handle on it well enough by then, that I can move on to better woods, and pens, and bottle stoppers, and….....
