Found a pattern online and traced it onto a 2’x3’ board, making a few modifications to the branch pattern along the way to make it visually appealing. I then cut out the branches with a jig saw. I drilled about 50 slots at a 40 degree angle and cut smal dowel rods to hold the thread. My wife had it hung on the wall and filled up immediately. Fairly quick project and it made the wife happy!

I bet your wife loves it. I know a lot of crafters that would really like one of these special trees. Very nice project.
