do you now , what can of wood oak is this?
because i have a few pieces like this and are from ENCINO OAK, ( from mexico)
this can of wood is a really hard,heavy, thanks..

I don’t know exactly which kind of oak it is , just one of the Live Coastal Oaks here in Calif. It came out of my brother-in-laws fire wood pile.
I have seen your site , I liked your candle holders. And I really like your boxes but I don’t have a bandsaw yet.
