This is a cabinet designed to hold sheet music. Ebonized Walnut with Anigre and Maple veneers.
Inlays of Mahogany, Walnut and Anigre. The finish is lacquer .
The side panels have the Anigre veneer with inset moldings and diamond inlays.
The cabinet will reside next to a black baby grand piano. These pictures are in my home before delivery.

This is great! Do oyou have any photos with the door open? I really like this. If my skill level were here, I’d make something like this for my family. Maybe someday…

Nice storage solution. My wife has been wanting to make something similar for our piano. Thanks for sharing.

I didn’t think to take finished pictures of the door or drawer open. But I have a shot of it in progress.
The shalves are 1/2 inch Baltic Birch Playwood. Spacing between shelves is 2” except the top space for the drawer which is larger- 2.5”??
