Hi everyone , I haven’t been building much lately but I managed to get a few days in to build this 4 ft extreme birdhouse . It has 16 rooms and made from white cedar . A friend gave me the glass top a while ago so I thought I would add it into one of my houses .I am going to add solar lights to the top so it glows at night .

your work just gets better and better john

very nice

the light should be a big help
for when the boys fly home
from the bars late

Thanks David ! Yes now if there is a blizzard the birds can just look for the light to find their way :-)

Your bird houses are cool, for sure. Always nice to see them; I’m tempted to make more of my own. I used to make and sell them to boutiques. I could make them and sell them wholesale for more than I could make at craft fairs. Some selling technique may have been involved.

That is one fantastic looking birdhouse John! Love the red roof and the log cabin style. Nice touch with the glass for a night time glow.

good to hear from you john, so when you say not building much , is that good or bad, i know you had to retire from normal work but i was hoping you could still be successful in the making of your extreme houses…is the demand down or do you have to back off from working so much…this is a grand house for sure, the glass top is a cool touch, post a new picture with the lights…
