I used Mylands High Build Friction Polish on the wood, the tops are ceramic so they were glazed and fired.

Very nice. I just discovered Myland’s, it really kicks the results up a notch.

Nice job. I was looking at the tops and said they shure don’t look like wood. Glad my eyes wern’t playing tricks on me.

Yeah, Mylands is great, I’ve also usedShellawax by Penn State Industries (http://www.pennstateind.com/) with similar results.
