Another one of the 6 ‘first batch’ dovetail boxes. This one is the first of 2 boxes with a sliding top. All wood is Thai Padoo with a sprayed urethane finish. Rounded off the dovetails on the RT to soften the profile.

I’ve never heard of Padoo, but it’s beautiful and you’ve made the most of it.

Douglas, your dovetails look great. I love the grain/color of this wood. Like David, I’ve never heard of it before, but man it is sweet looking.

Never heard of that type of wood before but it is gorgeous. I like the sliding top.
