This is from a plan in Wood Magazine #230. I used pine. I shaped the sides using a hardboard template and my router table.

And now a segment I call “Learn from My Mistakes”: If you build this and you drill holes for the dowel pegs, make sure you clamp some support blocks on the side of the carcass to prevent blowing out the sides. Thank you.

Great job, they are fun to build.

I built several of these for Christmas presents and left the dividers out for tools boxes for the kids
