One of our early projects, all we had was a jigsaw, drill, and mitersaw at the time. The wife wanted a plant stand. We cut the top pieces with a jigsaw from cedar fence boards, stained them and glued it all to a scrap of plywood. The edges were made by glueing some left over quarter round together (didn’t have a router at the time).

You two did a great job because it’s still being used.
