It’s not meant to look “pretty” or “finished” – I wanted a workhorse of a cabinet to hold all my router stuff. Carcass is 3/4” ACX ply and the doors & drawers are 1/2” baltic birch (all scrap from other projects). The table top (from Rockler) was a birthday gift from my lovely wife.

Wow sweet cabinet, and also very well thought out beforehand too.I really like this design and wormanship too. what is there in this table not too like? Actually I bought a number of items including a complete fence system and hold downs for a spindle moulder which is going to be my new router table.I think I could incorporate some aspects from your type of cabinet into the final design for my own.Alistair

No pretty? Heck this great looking router table/cabinet would look good in mom’s kitchen! Nice work!
