New workshop

Project by Andraxia posted 315 days ago 1049 views 0 times favorited 8 comments Add to Favorites Watch

Well I have just uploaded a lot of pictures to the workshop section under my profile but needed more space for another couple of pics.

First picture is of my two main lathes; The smaller of the two is mainly used for pen making and other small projects (key chains, perfume atomosers, etc.); The larger lathe is my main work horse for large projects.

Behind the smaller lathe will be mounted my lathe tools when my order of rare earth magnets come in. Beneigth the smaller lathe is my air compressor – I have yet to make a hood for it. I located it here as I tend to use the compressor a lot when turning.

The final picture is of my Shopsmith Mark V. Behind is my main Router table which I used to make the cupboard doors that are under my ‘blackwood kitchen’ in projects.

There is a lot more pictures to view under ‘workshop’ in my profile. Feel free to have look amd comment upon them.

Great lookin’ shop. Nicely orginized. It just needs a sprinkling of sawdust here and there.

Wow!.....You actually work in there?
That shop is way to clean and organized to be an LJ shop. But hey I bet you know where everything is when you need it.
Nice looking shop thanks for sharing.

Beautiful Shop!!

Like Sef said, it’s no fair cleaning up before you take the pictures- it makes the rest of us look bad!

Hmmm I wonder if I could market saw dust in a bottle? Complete with a shaker so you and dust your shop to make it look like you have been working?
