I have constructen this marble run in autumn 2007, it’s 148 cm (58 inch) tall and is mostly constructed from scrap wood. Nails, springs, bicycle bells and woodblocks will make sound when marbles jumps on it.

Why i post this project from 2007?
I’ve build this marble run for a art exhibition and a visitor has purchased it. But i was forget to make a video and good pictures so i’m try to found that visitor back, but no results until Xmas 2014… The visitor who has the marble run finally make a visit to another Xmas Marble run 2014, finally i get a opportunity to visit his home for this marble run who was pretty worn but works well.

It’t not very quite finished due to lack of time before exhibition start, and it’s from 2007. I used mostly scrap wood and old metal parts.
The tower itself is made from particleboards from a old cupboard. The lights are CCFL lights coming from a pimped car (it’s forbidden in Netherlands).

Please watch the video!

That’s really neat! Both the project and the story! Thanks for sharing. :)
