Hello,
I would like to introduce you to a wooden case, I built two years ago. I did not use a metal hinges. The hinges I built out of wood. All surfaces, inside and out I have polished with shellac.
Greetings Uwe

Very impressive. How did you cut the marquetry?

Another nice one Uwe. Lots of things to like here.
The hinges look a lot like the ones I use. I really like them too.
Thanks for posting this.

The finish is so good, I was fooled.
When I looked at the first picture I thought there was a glass over the top.
Nice work!
