Router table

This is the first project I finished using E-Cabinet Systems as a design tool. I have to say, the program is fantastic for designing simple cabinet based furniture. Its fairly simple to use. It understands different joinery methods. It’s easy to graphically layout cabinets, and experiment with different design decisions. And it produces very slick cut and optimized cut lists, which is nice when you are wanting to waste as little plywood as possible.

So far, I’m very happy with the resulting router table. The top is oversized, so I can use it as an assembly table as well. It serves me well until I can build a full woodworking workbench.

Unfortunately finances at the end of the project prevented me from making nicer drawer fronts from the cabinet. But some spare particle board allowed me to create drawer fronts what will work for now.

That is a great looking router table. Do you have a fence for your table if not
I have a fence-dust collector plan that I would like to share with you. It is easy
to make and and it can be custum made to fit any size table top

Looks like it came out real nice. Post the fence when you get a chance.

I’d be glad to. I’m headed out for a few days, but will post stuff when I get back.
